When you have a shorten URL people can remember the short one longer, than opposed to an extremely long one with over 20 characters long. Not only are they memorable but they can instantly notice what topic is on the page since the end of the URL is visible with the appropriate keywords.
If you are an online marketer, you must know that affiliate IDs are ones that lower your turn around rates. When people see the URL with the affiliate ID, they’ll know it’s an affiliate link and perhaps not click on the link, or just go directly to the home page (by typing it in manually) so that you do not get credited. Unfair? Of course, that is why a short URL can help you. It will mask your affiliate link into something much more short and the best thing is that your affiliate URL is well hidden as you cannot see it in the url whatsoever! It’s also a great way to sneak in affiliate IDs in forum signatures as well. Sometimes there are character limits to signatures, so of course, your original affiliate URL will be taking up a lot of characters or it won’t even fit inside your signature. Using a short url will save you characters to add in descriptive anchors, bold your text and even add in color. Be original!
For email addresses, you can hide them on websites! You don’t only need to use conventional WWW urls, but this site also accepts email addresses. This is ideal for those who don’t want web spiders to crawl and index your email, because, as most of you know: that can lead spam.
If you want to cloak an address, they can do this too. Some people don’t want visitors finding out what the URL is, so they get a shortened url from tube url. This is also ideal if you don’t want a spider to crawl through to your web address, for whatever reason you have. An example would be a submission for mailto:name@mail.com, the short URL would come out as www.tubeurl.com/mailname instead.
One of the advantage is that the URLs last for quite a long time. They don’t necessarily expire but Tube URL will delete addresses that are not following the terms of services. Just read it over and do not go against it and you will be fine!
Take advantage of this short URL script since it’s free! Maybe you’ve gained some new ideas on how you can benefit with short URLs from this article. This can help you monetize indirectly, clean up your website URLs and many more. Also, don’t forget to share this site with other people you know that might benefit with Tube Url, help the site grow!

The worldwide recession dominates all forms of media, with this topic now easily surpassing recent long term headlines such as the Iraq and Afghanistan wars.
The majority of people now days have access to an internet connection. Since the Sub prime crisis has reached its current level, internet usage has been recorded at its highest level on record (source: Jennifer Dowling ‘Daily Post’)
Apart from the usual small monthly fee required for an internet connection, there are no costs involved to explore millions of opportunities that can be found searching Google. As our economy slows, retail spending and purchasing of big ticket items have slowed as many of us look for ways to save money.
Current search engine statistics reveal that the word free is now in the top 10 searched terms on the internet. With the many thousands of industries that make up our economy, very few can be found that actually seek out and market their services to specifically entice customers to use their product or service at no cost and don’t expect any payment.
Free online dating and online singles services are currently seeing increased traffic volumes as offerings of free services across the internet are being searched in massive numbers.
There have been big declines in revenues with the paid sites and its little wonder when people can get the same thing for free. In many respects the free dating sites are virtually recession proof, especially the ones run as a one man show. The large sites with many employees and fixed costs will do it tough and will see a slow down inline with the economy in general.
Free online dating sites such as www.hookmeup.com.au from Australia have reported a rapid increase in memberships since the current economic climate has taken hold. The increase in traffic means extra revenue for website owners through advertising.
The Australian dollar is currently worth 50% less than the US dollar. Advertising revenue sources such as Google Adsense pay out their advertising revenue to free Australian online dating sites in US dollars which converts to 50% higher revenue when converted to Australian dollars.
So while most business industries are experiencing a slow down in turn over the free internet dating sector is shouldering some of the fallout and profiting as a result.
Jennifer Dowling from ‘The Post’ reports that finding love and romance was the main priority for more than 80% of single university students who took part in a recent survey.
University students are the main group of singles contributing to the current free online dating boom as they look for ways to save money and still enjoy the best things in life.

When you first start out with online dating you want to find the right dating service to join. This can be a problem because there are so many to choose from. Here are some tips on finding the best online dating sites to start with, you decide from there.
Your goal with online dating when you first start out with a dating site is to create a profile that presents you in the best light as possible. This profile will be matched with other members who share the same interests as you. It will also help them learn about you in regards to race, religion, location, sex, hobbies, and so on.
Some of the most popular dating sites are:
Match.com- As their name would indicate they are an online dating site that has a high success rate of matching people together. It shows up on almost all surveys as one of the best online dating sites. You can sign up for free and they offer 6 month, 3 month, and 1 month membership. Your profile will include 2 pictures and you can add video and audio to it.
Great Expectations- They get to the point by requesting your zip code. Then you will be asked to fill out a profile to determine if their service is available in your area. They are an established online dating site. This is a great choice if you live in a large city where they are available. They rank high because of how easy it is to get started with them.
Yahoo Personals- You will find fast searches and they probably have the highest number of photos to view. They offer a full 7 day free trial so you can begin checking out for a photo match for you. Currently they offer over 8 million members to choose from.
eHarmony- You have probably seen them advertised on television. To get started with them you take a relationship questionnaire. It’s fun to take and it’s one of the main components of their program to help you find your perfect mate. The relationship questionnaire is free and you will learn all about yourself and what you are really looking for in someone.
This is just a few of the most popular and reputable online dating sites. There are many reasons for cloaking your affiliate links – some of which are extremely valid. These include affiliate link hijaking, affiliate link bypassing and condensing your affiliate links.
Affiliate link hijacking is theft of your sales commission through a person who comes to your website, decides they want to buy the product and substitutes their own affiliate link in the place of yours. When they use the new link to purchase the product, they gain the sales commission instead of you.
Affiliate link bypassing is like hijacking but no one gets the commission. For whatever reason, the person who arrives at your site, clicks on the link will then remove the link ID and neither you nor the purchaser gets a commission. While affiliate link hijacking is more annoying, affiliate bypassing is also a no-win situation for the people involved.
Condensing your affiliate link just makes sense. Less so now, but still quite prevalent is the link that goes on forever. It’s long, needs to be carefully cut and pasted into a person’s browser to work properly and generally discourages a person from trying to visit a site via your link at all. Condensing the link goes a long way towards producing a link that is user-friendly and, as a result, garners a higher click through rate.
With all of that said, there is a couple easy ways to cloak your affiliate link to take care of any of these three conditions: affiliate hijacking, affiliate bypassing or condensing of the affiliate link.
Probably the simplest and safest way to cloak an affiliate link is by using URL masking. For the product in question, purchase a domain and forward it to the affiliate link using URL redirection and masking. This will assure that your affiliate link will be seen by no one and it will be very difficult for the surfer to alter or change.
You can also place a simple redirect on your site that will create an actual web page on your website. It will be a page containing only the bare necessities so that it loads quickly. Simply place a redirect after the body tag with your actual affiliate URL and upload it via FTP to your domain.
There are a number of sites which will teach you how to mask your URL as well as some free places that will make the URL redirect for you. Simple Google and put URL redirect as the search term. While there are a number of places, check each one because all are not equal.
Another approach is to simply use a service that shortens and changes your URL so that it is unchangeable. These sites will take a long affiliate link with your affiliate ID and change it to something that not only shortens the link but masks your ID in the process. Just remember, with URL shorteners only work until you get to your location. Upon landing on the main page of the program you are promoting, it will then show your affiliate ID.
The services available that will help with cloaking your affiliate URL include:
While some marketers consider cloaked URLs a form of dishonesty, in today’s highly competitive market it is becoming almost a necessity to cloak them in order to make honest commissions. Unless an affiliate promoter has an extremely high level of trust with their website visitors and have sent out a specific email to a list, it is only prudent to take that extra step to be completely sure. Affiliate link cloaking is rapidly becoming the norm in Internet marketing.

With approximately sixty new online dating sites being launched each week globally, its little wonder that singles are becoming more and more cautious about which dating sites are the real deal. Research compiled for this article includes topics on what to avoid, and some factual information that will assist singles on choosing a great dating site.
Dating sites that bombard you with emails from other “so called” members the minute you register are best avoided. Chat room pop ups and the like are a distinct sign of a dodgy dating site. Try not to let yourself be drawn in with such tactics. Misrepresentations are extremely common in the dating industry. In a recent lawsuit, a Scotts-dale dating service agreed to pay $500,000 in restitution and fines settling a lawsuit filed by the State Attorney General. The Scots-dale dating service engaged sales tactics and misrepresentations to sell over priced memberships.
Other alarming research states that around 50% of people tell lies on their online dating profile. What these people hope to achieve by this tactic is extremely short sighted as real life meetings will always uncover the truth which is seeing more and more genuine singles losing faith with their online dating experiences.
There is no way that anyone in their right mind would fork out a $50.00 subscription for an online dating membership to a new and unknown dating site when there are several tried and trusted dating sites with 100s of 1000s of singles on their database.
Out of the sixty new dating sites launched each week, it is thought that around only 5% will have any sort of success. So the only thing accomplished by this daily influx of free online dating sites is that the consumer is left disillusioned, frustrated and disappointed with the whole selection process. To find the dating site that is the real deal always go for one that has a huge database and that is well known.
A few recommendations are eHarmony, match, rsvp, cupid & hookmeup. Remember, the large dating sites are successful because they have poured millions of dollars into promoting their sites and they need your subscriptions to stay in business and to continue offering singles legitimate online dating services. U.S based dating site match spent over 100 million dollars in advertising last year. A new dating site can be designed and launched for a few hundred dollars. Which of these dating sites do you think will bring you the best results?

Although there are many free online services that can cloak your affiliate links, using standalone cloaking software is still important so you can fully control link cloaking operations. Nothing can beat the functionalities of cloaking software so you better get one to protect your links and ensure the profitability of your online affiliate business.
Cloaking software has the capability to customize your affiliate links. With free online cloaking services, you are only limited to making your links shorter. But with a cloaking application, you can tweak your affiliate link and make it look like a standard URL or sales page link.
This capability is critical because it can have a big impact on your click through conversion. Online buyers usually click on a link that looks like a real URL. Essentially, you can convince more people to follow your links by using cloaking software.
Tiny URLs generated by free online services are sometimes banned by some ISPs. Some web services and email providers are also wary of tiny URLs generated by free services. So if you are going to use this cloaking method, there is a possibility that you can encounter issues or problems with ISPs and web service providers.
You can avoid all of these by using cloaking software. Developers of cloaking applications ensure that your links will be friendly to ISPs and spam filters. Because of this, you can avoid issues with ISPs and email providers. Your affiliate links therefore will become effective tools in bringing in big commissions for you.

Online poker is one of the most sought after options of entertainment that can be found over the internet today. With this you have the option of making some money and have lots of fun from the comfort of your own home, with just a computer and an internet connection.
There are lots of skeptics when it comes to online poker sites. The main concern is money, if you make a deposit and you don’t know if you will ever see that money again, if you play for a while and win, what if they won’t pay you, if there are some players that know the cards and win all the time and other things like that. None of these allegations are founded and I’ll explain why.
First of all, online poker sites are there to provide entertainment and the option of winning money for a commission or a fee. This is called rake, and they earn it from each pot that rests on the table. There are more money involved if they have lots of players and lots of tables, thus lots of hands played, than simply from interfering with the game just to earn a few dollars from conning you.
Now that we have established that most online poker sites are legitimate providers of gambling options and entertainment, how can you determine which are the best places where you should play? There are many traits you should seek when you choose a single website to play on, but there is nothing keeping you from entering two or more website if you have the stomach.
The usual process you need to follow when you solicit the services of online poker sites is the following: you create an account, you download an application, you make a deposit and from there on good luck. But you should really consider the bonuses each website offers, because instead of depositing 200 dollars and have 200 dollars to play, you could also deposit 200 dollars and have 400 dollars to play.
Because of this you should weigh your options before you make your choice. The work it takes to visit each online poker website and see each of their terms and conditions, as well as their bonuses will cost at least a few hours. Because of this there are lots of websites out there that provide reviews on each website in particular, so all you need to do is visit one website and make your choice based on their information.
For example you should visit thepokerfish.com and see what they have to say. Their party poker review is one of the most eloquent examples. All the information you need about the party poker website can be found here and you will see that is a good choice.
For instance, the party poker review found here highlights the bonuses they have for deposits. If you are considering making a deposit of 50 dollars, you earn 25 dollars extra so you will have more money to play with. For other amounts like over 150 dollars, you will get 30% of you initial deposit. Free bonuses can be as high as 500 dollars.
In this party poker review you can also see that this website enjoys lots of traffic, so there will always be players that you can challenge, there are always promotions that can help you earn more money and other things like that. Now don’t think that the party poker review found here is an advertisement, because there are also things that are not so beneficial for the players like lack of live support and no US players.

Online dating site hookmeup.com.au plans to announce this Friday its plans to invite advertisers onto its dating site. The decision comes as hookmeup.com.au endeavours to continue offering members 100% free access across Australia.
dating site owner Matt Fuller estimates his spend at tens of thousands of dollars investing in expert advice and state of the art online dating software. Matt has employed industry experts and advisors over the past eleven months fine tuning every detail to give singles the very best user experience. Just as important, keeping it a free online dating site. With an over saturation of online dating sites on the market, http://www.hookmeup.com.au is making a point of difference by creating a new strategy so it remains free and plans to pay for the site costs via advertising.
Most businesses in their first year of operation will lose money. According to business leaders and entrepreneurs interviewed by Mr Fuller during the research phase, 70%-80% of a business start up allowance should represent research and due diligence.
Other research carried out by the Australian dating site owner, discovered over two thirds of new businesses fail within five years. Time after time lack of research is to blame.
Even extensive research doesn’t always shield successful businesses being swallowed up by larger companies with huge cash resources. The online dating industry has in recent times seen the larger online dating companies take over smaller internet dating companies in order to launch operations into new countries armed with an instant data base of current and local singles.
In recent times, online dating giant match.com has joined forces with Terra Latin America, the largest internet singles dating provider in the region. As a result of the partnership Match will now have an incredible fifty six million unique visits per month. Its these kind of figures that make it impossible for the smaller online dating sites to compete. Many smaller businesses world wide across many industries are falling victim to larger national companies.
RSVP, Australia’s largest internet dating site is another example of big companies snapping up opportunities in the endless search for larger profits. John Fairfax Holdings Limited recently bought RSVP for $38.50 million dollars. Fairfax has claimed that the market growth for online dating has been pushed by increasing social acceptability of time starved singles. Online publishers association claim online dating is the largest paid online content category in America.
With such huge companies in the market, a point of difference is the only possibility for success with new dating companies. The one thing http://www.hookmeup.com can provide above the larger online dating sites is they don’t charge any fees for their services. There are several other free online dating websites emerging to combat big business, and it seems to be adding a new spin on things. Some free dating sites even promote the paid ones and receive commissions in return. Google is also taking a slice of the action by advertising their Adwords ads on the free dating sites. The free online dating websites get paid by Google for sending traffic to the paid ones. It is certainly a sign of competitive times when businesses are resorting to giving their goods and services away. Good news for singles looking to join an online dating site though.

If you are an internet marketer or promoter or run a mailing campaign, you work hard to provide your clients with the best resources and bargains on the internet. If this is the case, then you are aware of how negative it can be for you and your reputation to send clients to a broken link advertisement or a to a website that never opens and only creates an “error” message. A solution for this is to get an application for your business that constantly checks the database for the availability of a site’s URLs to ensure that a site is ready and working at the moment the client opens it.
Smart URLs convert an existing link so that the target page opens in a new browser window.Although it uses JavaScript, it is smart enough to work even if JavaScript is disabled (by opening the page in the same window) — keeping your site accessible to everyone, and far more user-friendly than a link that doesn’t work at all. It also has the advantage of keeping your pages valid which is ultimately every internet marketer’s or promoter’s goal.
The internet today is full of webmasters that are constantly updating, editing and even deleting web pages so the odds of coming up with a “404 File Not Found” error is unfortunately not uncommon. Thankfully, when using a smart URL application, the odds of this happening drop dramatically.
Updating your webpage is an excellent way to keep your content fresh. However, lets say you are updating your website completely, changing the names of page’s filenames and so on and you want to get rid of those old pages but without having to worry about those who go to the old web page and see nothing. If people are finding your old pages when requesting previously known information into these search engines, and they attempt to go to that page that has been deleted or moved, they will get a error message. No webmaster wants this to happen.
Having the smart URL application allows you to send the old information from a Web page or its URL through your browser. Your browser, whether it is Microsoft Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator, will automatically reformat any Web page you send through it so it correctly fits inside the e-mail message or search query you are trying to expose to your customers.
Additionally, search engines such as Yahoo and Google now have smart URL toolbars to further the chances of redirecting customers to the correct pages using the old link information.

Leading online dating site hookmeup has re-launched its website offering all new and existing members free use of all its facilities. There are no gimmicks or hidden surprises with their new offer.
Online daters have grown tired of online dating sites offering free online dating that doesnt deliver. Most sites offer kisses, roses, flirts, stamps, credits etc only to hit members up for a subscription somewhere down the track. www.hookmeup.com.au offers free member contact, free instant messaging, free web/video chat, and free chat rooms. Their website also has a groups service where you can create your very own community. This online dating site seems to have the lot.
Hookmeup has all the very best features that rsvp, redhotpie, eharmony and aussiematchmaker offers, with one main difference being you wont at any stage be asked to pay. Hookmeup now has several thousand members. Registration is short and simple, and who knows, you might just find a friend or a hot date.
Another excellent component is how simple the website is to use. A simple menu to choose from. Its all spelt out in plain english. Long winded and complicated online dating sites are also frustrating for online daters.
With such an over supply of online dating sites out there hookmeup has taken all the nonsense out of the online dating experience. Many singles are taking advantage of this free and state of the art website. The owners of hookmeup have done thorough research in providing online daters what they want. Free, simple, with loads of features.
Time and time again many online dating sites advertise free to browse, free to join, free to register etc etc. Its mis-leading and has given the online dating industry a bad name. Hookmeup should be a real hit in this industry. Online daters are becoming savy and no longer need to be tricked into paying for online dating when there are sites like hookmeup and others doing it for free.
Online dating is a way of life for many singles. As a result so many dating sites have popped up over the years. The tide is turning back to favour the online daters given all the choice thats available. I personally cant think of any other industry, be it related or not, where you can find some companies offering it all for free. The trick for the consumer is to find the online dating sites that are truely free.
Happy dating.
